Critical - TextExtrusion node truncates after 50 characters

Hi there.

I might be doing something fatally wrong, but whenever I add a TextExtrusion
and enter text with more than 50 characters
(like:'Whenever you enter more than fifty characters everything above 50 will be truncated')
that's exactly what happens....:-(

After 50 characters everything else is just not rendered...

In case I haven't missed any secret setting, this is currently a showstopper for us.

Hi Eric,

There is indeed a 50 character limit.
We added removing the limit or increasing the limit to our request list and we will consider adding it in future releases.

Until that, you could split the text and use multiple Text Extrusion modules.

Thanks! May I ask what the reason may be for such a limit?
Is it some 'security' limit to make sure that complex shaped fonts don't create too many vertices/polygons?

You are right about the limit. It is a 'security' limit against overloading the hardware.
