How to position my Base Stations.? Diagonal or linear.?

Hi there, I have a indie setup consist of 1 Base Station and 1 Htc ive COntroller as Tracker.


I can pan and tilt but when I try dolly in or out the virtual camera won't move.? How to fix.?

You need 2 base stations for 3D tracking. That’s why you’re only getting rotation data.

Should I place my base stations diagonally positioned.? 

or can I place them on the same axe facing each other to explain: one at north the other at south and i move around that area. Or Diagonal Placement is a must.?
