Collada import error: Empty module name is not allowed

I am getting the following error while importing into Aximmetry the collada file created from 3D Studio Max using the Autodesk collada exporter.

'Empty module name is not allowed'

Any idea what is causing the error ? I am not very familiar with 3D Studio Max. Is it something related to the export settings used in 3D Studio Max?

Hi,

A model or element is not named in 3D Studio Max (Studio Max allows you to create things without a name). You pretty much need to name everything in your model's hierarchy before importing it into Aximmetry.
