How far can we go with Unreal Engine Aximmetry?

Is it possible to use a plugin like this with UE Aximmetry?

Of course you can, why wouldn’t you? It’s not even a plug-in, it’s just an asset pack.

I was concerned that the winter snow animation wouldn't come over to Aximmetry.  If it does this my gosh what an amazing tool.

I guess we will go ahead and buy that asset pack and give it a whirl.

Thanks

Does an asset pack install differently than a plugin?  With the plugin I installed it in the public version of UE4 and then installed it in Aximmetry DE via the menu 'Install plugins'.   Is something like this required for asset packs or do you install them directly in UE4 Aximmetry?

Aximmetry just runs the UE4 project in the background, so there is no conversion going on. If it works in UE4 it should work in Aximmetry. You might run into image quality issues with translucent objects (like the snow) in front of the keyed video, requiring you to make some additional adjustments to the UE4 scene. This is covered in the Aximmetry documentation.

Assets that you buy on the UE4 marketplace are usually added to a specific project through the Epic launcher. If you check “Show All” in the pop-up where you select the project, Aximmetry UE4 projects should show up as well. Check the UE4 documentation to learn more about how to Marketplace assets work.
