2x 4K60 HDMI Cameras?!

Hello everyone,

I am a bit perplexed. How is it possible that with Studio Version you can have 4K60 over HDMI but with Broadcast Version I cannot run 4K60 over HDMI? I actually have 2 cameras capable of this and 2 computers, is it possible to assign 1x 4K60 input to each computer if I have no output? Thank you!!

You can definitely run 4K60p on both the Studio and Broadcast versions. What makes you think you can’t?

To run Aximmetry on two computers you’ll need two licenses. To run Aximmetry in multi-machine mode (where they are both linked and controlled from one computer) one of the licenses needs to be Broadcast.

Sorry to clarify, the Aximmetry website states support up to 2x fixed cameras @ 4K30 OR 1x fixed camera @ 4k60 with Studio / Community. However, with Professional / Broadcast you can only have 1 fixed camera @ 4K30. So my question is, IF i link 2x computers with Broadcast License, can I then have 2x fixed cameras at 4k60? (even though this is not listed on website as an option). Thank you!

I think you’ve misunderstood the information on the website. There are no such limitations on resolution or the number of connected cameras in the Broadcast / Professional edition with HDMI connections. You can definitely do 4K60 in Professional and Broadcast as well. One computer can only render (output) one UE4 perspective at once, but you can switch between multiple camera inputs and angles in Aximmetry. If you use two computers you can render a separate angle on each and output to an external video switch, but you have to buy a license for each computer.
