Using RedSpy with FreeD

Hi,

I am currently studying using Aximmetry and Redspy.

I am using the broadcast version of the DE. So my question is, is it possible to use RedSpy with FreeD without using the HF protocol?

Hi,

You should be able to use FreeD protocol.
You can set it up at Edit->Manage Devices:

Of course, we also have dedicated support for Stype's own protocol in the Manage Devices menu.

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried that one as well.

However, I need to set the CameraID in the Free-D setting of Manage Devices.

It seems that Free-D is still not possible since redSpy has only UDP port.

Hi,

You should try with different CameraID-s (0, 1, 2, 3) in the Free-D setting of Manage Devices.
Also while trying to set it up, turn off the Windows firewall to make sure it is not interfering. Later you can turn it back.
