Weird reflection in Aximmetry

Hi everyone,

How I can fix this weird reflection problem in Aximmetry?
Thanks.

On top of this, I have this problem where the reflections move in a weird way when I move the camera.
To solve this I made a new version of the project with raytracing, and while the reflections work better, no I can't get any reflections from the camera input in Aximmetry, even though billboards and virtuals are enabled.

ScreenSpace reflections will not render translucent materials like used on the Billboard accurately. This is unfortunately a limitation of UE4 and not Aximmetry. Use raytraced reflections or planar reflections instead. To make the billboard appear in raytraced reflections you need to enable that in the drop down menu on the Aximmetry camera in the UE4 editor.

Thank you for your reply. Is it the render mode menu?  Because is it set to Raytraced reflection but still there is no reflection in Aximmetry.

Hi,

No, you have to set the drop-down in the world and not in the blueprint:

The way you did it, only changes the 'default' value and will only work if you delete the camera in the world and add it again.

When setting up the reflection please consider things detailed here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-aximmetry-de-users/how-to-install-and-work-with-the-unreal-engine-based-de-edition/#other-considerations

Warmest regards,

Hi Txsjnx,

Your issue could be different than the one in this forum thread. Can you tell us a bit more about your project, or a screenshot of the reflection misalignment could greatly help us to figure out what went wrong.

Warmest regards,
