Is there a more specific and detailed operation tutorial on the tracking of the rocker camera? The current official website documents cannot give very good help.

What’s a “rocker camera”?

Do a jib/crane? Does it have encoders on all axis? Of so, what protocol does it support? It’s probably hard to keep documentation for a specific equation and if you’re using an external tracking system it doesn’t really matter if the camera is mounted on a crane, tripod or is handheld.

What specific information are you looking for?

The virtual rocker arm is used, and each axis will have tracking data transmitted by the encoder, and the data format is Free-d protocol.

If you use the virtual rocker Free-d protocol for tracking, if you should debug, what is the difference with the fixed virtual tripod debugging method. Can you provide accurate debugging process videos or debugging teaching documents?

Hi Camkoon,

Most solutions that would be implemented with a rocker camera will work without any additional setup in Aximmetry. The tracking data sent by these solutions will have the exact camera position.
You just need to add the Free-d at Edit->Manage Devices:

Of course, Aximmetry can handle much more, but for that, we need more information about your setup.

What tracking solution are you using with the rocker camera? Or you don't have any rocker in the real world? And you are simulating one by software?

Warmest regards,
