"switch video smooth" nasty audio glitch!

I documented an audio bug happening on multiple computers.

a short snippet of audio from the video file is looped. when switching the inputs in the middle of the video length. (not finishing it)

it seems to be the audio from the first frames of the video.

(Description of the video: example of the glitch appears at "01:06" when switching the video inputs sooner than the last frame of the source video file. Muting the files shows that one part of the audio glitch disappears when only one file is muted.)

the "looping" parameter of the videos is turned off btw

this needs to be fixed, or there should be a way to avoid it happening.

Hi,

We apologize for the inconvenience, and we are working on a fix for this issue.
Note, this does not happen with all video/formats.

Meanwhile, you can use the following workaround with the Switch Audio module:

If you want to make Smooth Switch Audio, then you can use the Audio Mixer module for such a purpuse.
When transitioning, you will have to control the Audio Mixer's Level input pins with some extra flow modules.

Warmest regards,
