How to make the digital extension synchronized with single/multiple tracking cameras seamlessly

Hello,

I have used Broadcast version with reTracker cameras and LED wall

With fixed camera setup, the digital extension works fine with the LED wall

However, i could not be able to make the graphics, generated by the digital extension of Aximmetry, synchronized with the graphics appearing on the LED wall seemlessly, while using single/multiple tracking cameras with reTracker , including pan, tilt, zoom in-out, and focus

Could you instruct me the workflow in details of how to solve the offset issues as stated as above for the digital extension with LED wall and tracking camera(s)? Blueprints would be more appreciated

Thanks and have a good day

Hi,

Probably something in the Led Wall setup is not accurate enough. Like the values are given for the Led Wall position and dimension in Aximmetry do not represent the reality.

Please follow the tutorial here very closely:
https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-studio-operators/using-led-walls-for-virtual-production/

Or maybe your reTracker is not calibrated accurately.

If you are referring to Unreal Blueprints, you do not have to touch Unreal Blueprints for the Led Wall to work perfectly.

Warmest regards,

Thanks for your quick response Eifer. I have followed the tutorial quite closely. However, there is always latency between the graphics generated by the digital extension and the images from both LEDwall and floor. The latency causes the offsets between the images and graphics.

The more i move the tracking camera, the more latency it causes to those graphics from both led wall and floor as well as the digital extension's areas. Indeeds, they are not seamless and synchrornized while moving the tracking camera.

Hi,

Digital Extensions also have a delay value, consider this when setting up tracking delays:

If this does not help, can you describe a bit in more detail how does the latency shows up?

Again, thanks for your kindness of supporting, Eifert

I wonder If there is any method to make the Digital Extension delay value perfectly matched with the tracking data of the tracking camera of Realsense T265?

Those data altogether are usually offset, due to manual data input, which similarly causes latency between them randomly different with various value
