Broadcast DE version how to scale UE model to match tracked camera in Aximmetry current version

Hi Everyone:

I am perplexed:

I have a marketplace asset- the new york alley scene.  I have added the tracked camera into UE, etc.- all is OK.

In Aximmetry- I loaded the scene, no problem, I have my composite working (real camera and UE scene)- all looks great and everything works well- EXCEPT:

The UE scene and the real camera comp- scale is wrong.  I went into edit scene mode, assigned to my preview monitor- but there is no 'cursor' on my preview screen, as I assume I can use this mode to scale down my UE scene to match the tracked camera?

I can't figure out how to match the scale of the virtual UE scene with the tracked camera....

Thanks,

RACERG

Hi,

You can edit and scale down the scene in Unreal for Aximmetry. You can use the Live Sync mode to have a fast workflow: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-aximmetry-de-users/how-to-install-and-work-with-the-unreal-engine-based-de-edition/#interactive-editing

It is possible to edit scene objects in the preview monitor if they are made in and rendered by Aximmetry.
We strongly recommend when setting up your Unreal scene to use real-world values and scales.

Warmest regards,

Hi:

I am looking for a way to scale my UE scene once it's rendered into Aximmetry.

Can I scale it by:

1) Adding a scene node in the compound.

2) Connect its world transform out to the UE project module transformation pin input.

3) Select the scene module and go into edit mode and edit in the preview window?  Scale, move, etc.?

It seems like this show work and not sure if its the 'proper' way?  I don't want to have the scale the UE scene in Unreal...

Hi,

You should do the second: "2) Connect its world transform out to the UE project module transformation pin input."
Like how it is described in this documentation:
https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-aximmetry-de-users/how-to-install-and-work-with-the-unreal-engine-based-de-edition/#connection-with-aximmetry

1 and 3 are possible with objects rendered by Aximmetry, but not possible with Unreal Scenes.

Warmest regards,
