UE 3d animation looks terrible WITHIN aximmetry

 

Hi,


I have a project and inside I have a 3d character that looks perfectly fine inside unreal:


But from Aximmetry it looks terrible, the eyes are not rendered properly and is totally out focus, the weird thing is that the other elements look perfectly fine, is only that character.


What could be the issue?

Hi Mauricio,

It is most likely caused by focus distance. The 3d character is too close to the Unreal camera so it is out of focus.
You can either:

  • Move the 3d character or the camera bit further away
  • Change the focus distance to a very small value. For example, when you edit the A or B endpoints of any path use the Alt + Space + Left Mouse up/down combination for changing the focus distance.
  • Fully disable focus in Unreal. You can do so, by changing the camera focus settings of the Aximmetry Unreal Camera:
