Virtual screen color and ghosting

Hello guys

When projecting a video on my virtual screen I have problems with the colors and "ghosting" of the moving images.

the colors are overly saturated and have high contrast, I have turned on the HDR out option and things seem to be better but still, the quality is low.

also, I have problems with ghosting the moving images on the screen.

Does anyone else have the same problems?

Here is the link to a video where I tried to capture the problem: https://vimeo.com/626628828

I'm using unreal engine 4 for Aximmetery

Thank you

Hi,

Make sure you follow the settings listed here in your Unreal Project:
https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-aximmetry-de-users/using-tracked-cameras-and-augmented-reality-with-an-unreal-scene/#unreal-setup

You probably want to disable Motion Blur at Edit / Project Settings / Engine / Rendering / Default Settings - Motion Blur.

Also, consider what type of material you want to use as a virtual screen in Unreal.

If your issues still happen, please post more footage, including the original video that is being projected.

Warmest regards,

@Eifert: Are you sure that motion blur really affects screen video?  Orion blur is an essential part of rendering smooth video at frame rates below 60p, so if Aximmetry doesn’t support it, I think it should be considered a bug.

@TwentyStudios

I am not sure.
Based on that video and description it's hard to make a solid guess.
My comment was meant to be a starting point to eventually finding the underlying issue.

Warmest regards,
