After changing the lighting channels the shadow of billboard is gone

 

Hello,

I need to seperate the lighting to different channels in Unreal Engine and when the light for billboard is not on channel 0 the shadow is gone. It is difficult to change all other object to other channel to preserve the channel 0 fo r the billboard.

Can I change the lighting channel of the billboard?

Hi,

You could change the Shadow mesh under the Camera. For example, for the virtual camera, you will find it at Aximmetry_VirtualCam_3-Bill\Blueprints\Components\Shadow. Once you open the Shadow, you should change in the detail's the Lighting Channel you want to use:

(you might want to change the lighting channel for other items under the Components)
