Is the SE version handling video signal without the TAA situation in Unreal Engine?

 

Hello,

As the title, will I get a better video input quality using SE version, both virtual cam and tracked cam?

Hello, 

SE stands for Single Engine. It uses Aximmetry's own 3D engine and doesn't support Unreal Engine. For that, you will need the DE (Dual Engine) version which supports both simultaneously.

Aximmetry DE disables TAA on the video, both for virtual and tracked cameras. You get the option of either compositing in-engine, where the video will past throug the rest of the post processing in UE4 (it compensates for the Tonemapper as well) or compositing in Aximmetry where the video source is composited on top of the UE4 scene. You select this using the Allow Virtuals switch in the Cameras panel.
