Unfortunately, we cannot support ray tracing translucency due to the way ray tracing is implemented in the Unreal Engine.
The reason is that ray tracing translucency breaks our current shadow rendering method and there are no other ways to achieve the same results.
This is unlikely to change in the near future but we will take another look when ray tracing became more mature.
Hey, will this feature be introduced in the 4.27 version of Unreal for Aximmetry?
Epic changed how shadows work with raytraced translucent materials in 4.27 but it wasn't mentioned basically anywhere.
