2021.3.2 Tracks pin disconnected

 

Ran into a show stopper issue:

VirtualCam_Unreal_A-B-C_Preview_3-Cam

has Sequence input pins (Seq Cam Transf 1, Seq Zoom Factor 1, Seq Focus Distance 1, etc.) and we used to connect those pins to a track for sequencer so that we could drive them from sequencer.

However, we loaded the project with 2021.3.2 and the pin are disconnected and we no longer can conenct those input pins (Seq Cam ... etc.) to the sequencer tracks output! The Tracks pin is white while 

Any solution?

It seems like exposing these pins from Free camera worked, but I guess the compound was overwritten. Should these pins maybe become part of the default compound to allow sequencing of the virtual camera?

You can control the virtual camera via the sequencer now. Check the release notes if the latest update.

Hello, as Twenty mentioned, this was changed with the latest release.

  • Added option to use external Sequencer for controlling camera Paths. Added Seq input pins to Cam compounds for each camera that can be connected to Camera Movers and then to Sequencers. Select SEQ on the CAMERA X PATH panels to activate this control.

Ok the change makes us loose our sequencer data when opening existing projects….

If you customize a compound you need to save it outside the default Aximmetry compound folder or it will be replaced when you update Aximmetry.
