Using Aximmetry lighting to Unreal scene

 

Hello everyone, 

I am currently using Aximmetry DE with UE4 to build the 3D scene.

My question is, when I need to add lights to the scene inside Aximmetry, is it possible to use the Aximmetry lighting module to the baked/linked UE4 module or the only way to add light is only through inside UE4?

Hello,

Lights in Aximmetry are using Aximmetry's engine, so they will only affect objects rendered by it. That's why it can only affect the billboard, which is rendered by Aximmetry's engine in case Allow virtuals is turned off. If you want your Unreal Scene's objects to be affected by lights, then you should add the lights inside of Unreal.
