I want to export a fbx file with all studio and scenes transformation included

Hello,

Is there any button to setup the export of fbx file with all studio and scenes transformation included? Now when I import the fbx into Unreal Engine the camera is base on zero point.

I saw on tutorial page: "the final camera position and focal length data which are already modulated by the Base Cam Transform and ORIGIN settings and the VR path motions. It's stored in an FBX file in order to be able to use from any third-party system."

I think this is what I want but I cannot get the result. Any suggestion?

Hi,

It is possible to record the Camera with its transformations included. It is discussed here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-studio-operators/recording-camera-tracking-data/#final-composite-recording-1

Did you try using the Record_3-Audio compound, with it being connected to a Camera's Record Data output pin?

Also note, that studio transformation won't be included in it, as it is representing your real-world studio and not the virtual world.

Hello,

Using Record_3-Audio I can record virtual cam, tracked cam and then select a virtual path. The tracked cam with virtual path will include the SCENE offset but the one with "Trk" selected will not include the SCENE offset. Need to select or connect something?

Hi,

We couldn't recreate a scenario where a Tracked Camera would not add SCENE offset to the recording, even if "Trk" is selected. So we need more details on it. Which exact Camera compound are you using? What else is set to different than the default settings?
(you can right-click on elements in the Billboard or on a parameter and select the "reset" option to see what was its default value)

If curious, you can peek what final transform is being saved into the Recording by the following way:

(in Collection Transformation, you will have to set Key to Cam Transform)

Also note, if "Trk" is selected, it will only record the "Trk" Tracking Device input if Use Billboards and Allow Virtuals are selected.
