Input Delay

Hi,

We're experiencing an input delay of about 10 - 15 frames. (DE Studio Edition) We have a virtual screen that has a NDI input. When we hard cut on the NDI system it takes about 10 to 15 frames to reflect in Aximmetry. We have tested an HDMI input instead of the NDI but we're still experiencing the same delay. In OBS the hard cut reflects instantly. Is there a general delay setting in Aximmetry that causes this? If not, any other idea how to resolve the issue?

Thanks in advance.

Aximmetry, can we please get a response. Waiting more than two weeks for any kind of support is challenging and frustrating.

Please respond. We cannot fix this issue. It is a problem. OBS and other applications do not present the same input delay problem. We still have 69 days left on our warranty - I do not understand why we're not getting support.

You can adjust the Aximmetry processing delay in the Preferences to the lowest amount possible without getting dropped frames.

Still, a noticeable delay is to be expected. Between the camera processing delay, video capture card, the Aximmetry processing buffer and the capture card output there are a lot of stages delaying the signal.

Hi,

Sorry for the late answer.
We have tested it. When the fps of the input NDI and the fps of Aximmetry was the same then we experienced only a few frames of delay.
(which was sometimes even better then the OBS which we tested parallel)
We experienced issue when the input NDI fps was much higher than the fps of Aximmetry.
What fps do you use in your scene and what fps the NDI input has?
(Also please not that Aximmery has an unlimited fps which can be used for testing, but not for production, because it has some issues)

Best Regards
