Unable to find Unreal Engine for Aximmetry download link - Studio Limited License

Hi everyone,

I am a broadcast technician and I recently started using Aximmetry. I currently have a Studio Limited license registered on my account, but I cannot find the download link for the AX Scene Editor (Unreal Engine for Aximmetry) in my "My Software" dashboard.

I am planning to integrate Unreal Engine 5 for a virtual set project. Does the Studio Limited version support the Dual Engine (DE) workflow, or do I need to switch to the Community DE or a Broadcast Trial to access the modified Unreal Editor?

I would appreciate any guidance on how to get the correct installer for the Unreal Engine integration.

Best regards, Stevenson

Hi Stevenson,

Community DE is no longer obtainable, as it was discontinued some time ago. Unreal support, formerly known as Dual Engine (DE), is now provided through a separate product/add-on called AX Scene Editor. More information is available here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/which-aximmetry-is-right-for-you/aximmetry-render-components

Aximmetry currently has two main paid editions:

  • Broadcast & Film
For Broadcast & Film, AX Scene Editor is available either as a lifetime upgrade or as a monthly subscription.
  • Studio
For Studio, AX Scene Editor can be added as a monthly subscription upgrade together with the Studio rental license.

Also, note that the AX Scene Render Node is already included with both Broadcast & Film and Studio monthly subscriptions. However, AX Scene Render Node does not include AX Scene Editor, so it cannot be used to edit scenes.

You can find more details here: https://aximmetry.com/products

Warmest regards,

huseen

This means there is no free version of Unreal.

Hello,

I have applied for a one-month trial of the broadcast & film version of the software, but the installation package doesn't seem to include the AX Scene Editor(UE for Aximmertry). And it appears that the editor service cannot be purchased without subscribing to the software itself. Does this mean that trial users cannot access the full range of features? I’m a bit confused, as I can’t do anything at the moment.
