Basic Camera Calibrator doesn't receive data from PTZ cameras anymore

I am wondering if there are any problems with the Basic Camera Calibrator? It worked totally fine before updating.

The new calibrator doesn't receive data from PTZ cameras anymore.

Aximmetry still works and receives the data and works fine but I reduced the height of the cameras for a new show and I am not able to do the calibration anymore. Can you help?

Hi,

In Aximmetry version 2025.3.0, the following improvements were added to the Basic Calibrator app:

  • Basic Calibrator: added Set Reported button to the camera Properties window to allow setting Sensor Width automatically when it is reported by the current tracking protocol.
  • Basic Calibrator: added filling Eye Point Offset automatically if it is available when adding a calibration point.

These updates should not cause the issue you described; we have not experienced similar reports.
Could you please provide more details about the problem? Specifically, how have you determined that the calibrator is not receiving tracking data?

Also note: the Basic Calibrator still uses the previous startup configuration screen. You will need to define the tracking input after the startup window.

Warmest regards,
