Lag in camera switching in Broadcast version with FreeD

Hello!

We're testing the Broadcast version with PTZ cameras using FreeD.

We've noticed that when switching from a fixed camera to a camera using the FreeD protocol, there's a delay between the camera change and the virtual scene change. The background changes first, then the camera.

We've tried switching cameras on different inputs, but it always happens on the input configured with the FreeD protocol. If we disable the tracking system, it returns to normal.

How can we fix this?

Thank you very much!Lag in camera switching in Broadcast version with FreeDLag in camera switching in Broadcast version with FreeD

Hi,

This issue is most likely unrelated to the specific tracking system or protocol you are using. Instead, it happens when switching between virtual and tracked cameras, or vice versa.

Additionally, it looks like the Unreal Engine's motion blur is not reset when changing between cameras.
The motion blur problem was addressed in the latest version of Aximmetry (2025.2.0), as noted in the release notes: "MixedCam: fixed artifacts appearing in some cases when switching from virtual camera to tracked cameras (Camera Cut was not triggered)."

The extra frame appearing when switching between virtual and tracked cameras was also fixed in an earlier release. Therefore, updating to the latest version of Aximmetry should resolve these issues.
If you are unable to update, you can try disabling Motion Blur in the Unreal Editor. To do this, go to Edit > Project Settings, then search for "Motion Blur" and turn it off, unless you specifically require this effect.

Warmest regards,
