Deltacast IP Virtual Card integration

Hi Aximmetry team,

I have a small question regarding ST2110 Cards. Do you plan to integrate Deltacast IP Virtual Card functionnality since you already use Deltacast SDK for SDI ? If so, do you already have an idea of the availability date ?

Thanks by advance for your answer, have a nice day !

Hi,

Deltacast IP Virtual Card integration is in our development plans and will likely be added in a future version of Aximmetry. However, we cannot provide specific dates for the development timeline. It is likely to be included in one of the next two or three major versions of Aximmetry.

Note, for non-virtual Deltacast SMPTE 2110 cards, we have a documentation page available here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/setting-up-inputs-outputs-for-virtual-production/video/smpte-2110/smpte-2110-in-output-setup/

Hi Eifert,

thanks a lot for your answer and for the link. Unfortunatly Deltacast 2110 Cards are good but for our project we need two of them for inputs and one more for output and it didn't fit into COTS servers. It's not a big issue because Deltacast is working on a biggest 2110 card. we just have to wait a little bit.

Best regards,

Yvain Cormier

Hi,

In the recent Aximmetry version 2025.3.0, In Aximmetry version 2025.3.0, the following SMPTE 2110 enhancements (currently available for Deltacast DELTA-ip-ST2110 cards) have been implemented:

  • Added NMOS support.
  • Input and output settings can be saved to and set up from an SDP file.
  • Added support for 2022-7 Seamless Protection Switching (SPS).
  • Enabled setting RTP Payload Type for streams.
  • For outputs, enabled setting separate destination IP addresses for video, audio, and ancillary.
  • For outputs, enabled setting separate multicast addresses and source IP filters for video, audio, and ancillary.
  • TX source ports can be automatically set to the same as destination ports.
  • Enabled setting up the exact audio format and number of channels (which also fixed prior audio transfer issues).

You can read more about these changes here:

Note, our SMPTE 2110 documentation hasn't been updated with changes yet.
