Ncam connected to Aximmetry Broadcast trial.

Has anyone successfully connected Ncam to Aximmetry Broadcast trial? If so please share the process. Is there anything else necessary after you input the IP and port in device manager? In all the info i found so far the steps are: 1 add the device in device manager with the ip an port,2 verify you connection by creating a compound an a camera tracking module to test your connection. At that point i get an warning message  - no input from camera tracking. i know that Ncam is working i have genlock and timecode thru out the system and it's working with unreal and ndisplay,  live link. I want to see if aximmetry can optimize my system and process.

Current setup: led volume - 25mW/5mh - curve 210  degrees, led ceiling 14mL/6ml; Unreal engine with ndisplay, 4 renderers (3 for led wall, 1 for ceiling) Ncam tracking system, genlock and timecode in all the hardware from Ross sync generator.

Hi,

It should connect without a problem after specifying the IP and port in the Device Manager.
You should check if the Unreal Editor is running in the background with a live link. Ncam probably only permits one system to connect at a time, which might be causing the issue.

I am assuming you are following this document: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/tracking/how-to-set-up-tracking-systems-in-aximmetry/ Does both the Cam Transform and Native Transf pins of the Camera Tracking module returning zero values?

Warmest regards,

Hi, I have shut down all remote renderers , only the composer pc is on. In it there is no unreal opened, i have checked all processes, no unreal process is on, I have only opened the Aximmetry Broadcast de software, new compound, camera tracking module , set to ncam with ip and port. no Input message on screen no data in Cam transform and native pins. I'm running out of ideas... what is wrong in this setup? i used a udp receiver module and set it to the ncam port - it receives data so the signal is coming to aximmetry, but when i set and camera tracking module it is not working. Ncam  version 2023.1.1. not scenario (yet).

Hi,

Which version of Aximmetry are you using? Note that in the latest beta version, you can even check the raw packets in the Camera Tracking module:
Ncam connected to Aximmetry Broadcast trial.
You can download the Beta from here: https://my.aximmetry.com/User/MyDownloads

On the other hand, a screenshot of your setup in NCam would help a lot.
You should also try operating without using NCam HFR:
Ncam connected to Aximmetry Broadcast trial.

Additionally, you could attempt a FreeD connection in the above picture (you will need a FreeD connection with it in Aximmetry's Manage Devices). If that doesn't work either, you might be seeing something else with the UDP receiver module than the NCam tracking data. Providing a screenshot of what you receive with the UDP receiver could also be helpful.

Warmest regards,

Hi, problem soved with ncam, was my stupid mistake, i was using the udp port from sdk lite instead of 38860 port that ncam uses to send out all data. Now facing another problem, probably my mistake also: i don't have fill output to LED walls, all f1-f4 show no output.

I will start another thread tomorrow with details of my setup and what i did so far.

I really need to decide if we can use aximmetry in our setup until the end of the month.

So far i like it, just need to fully test it in our setup.

Thanks for your help.
