With “transitions”, do you mean a cross fade? That can’t be done without rendering on separate workstations. Aximmetry only renders one perspective at a time, so cross fades between virtual camera paths wouldn’t work. 

If you just want the position to make a smooth move to the next path you check the Smoothing box at the far right of the Camera path panels.
