I am not sure why the Vive tracker is needed.

Your PTZ camera should be sending back position/rotation data through Visca or Free-D.
If so, you should be able to receive it in Aximmetry.
Aximmetry-> Edit -> Manage Devices:

However, you will need a Broadcast license.

I successfully installed a similar setup in our showroom.

The Sony FR7 PTZ camera provides pan, tilt, and zoom via FreeD. The Vive Tracker provides position via FreeD (on a separate port). In Aximmetry, you need to set the Vive’s FreeD data as the tracking device and add the PTZ camera’s FreeD data as a zoom encoder.

That should make it work.
