Should I extend Common libraries with my own assets?

You should not! Do not save anything into the Common or Common_Studio projects, and do not modify any of the existing assests found in them.

They serve as an exclusive storage of the factory assets coming with the Aximmetry software.

Each time when you install a new version of Common Libraries (either along with the software or from a separate download) anything you've created or modified in these folders will be lost and overridden by the new content.

Also you should not modify any existing assets in these folders, because other factory assets relying on these ones can become disfunctional.

If you need a modified version of one of the assets (for e.g. a shader or a camera controlling compound), first make a copy of it either in a folder of your current project you're working on or a separate project folder you made for this purpose.
