The A-B compounds are for basic camera motions only (which are suitable for the majority of virtual studio situations).
However you can create any camera motion if you use a Sequencer, like described in the tutorial:

in addition for virtual cameras you can find predefined compounds named VirtualCam_Seq_XXX which works somewhat similar to A-B ones, but for each camera path you can define an arbitrary sequence instead of A-B points.
