Depth Cameras Support

Are Depth Cameras systems supported by the aximmetry software?

For example intel real sense Cameras

https://www.intelrealsense.com/tracking-camera-t265/https://www.intelrealsense.com/tracking-camera-t265/

or stereolabs zed camera

Currently we only have interface for zLense cameras, in the future we may add others as well.

What about panasonic AW-UE150 PTZ Camera support?
It seems there is alot of projects based on it like this one

In that video no depth camera is used.
In Aximmetry you can similarly put the talent behind virtual graphics when using tracked cameras as described in:
https://aximmetry.com/learn/tutorials/for-studio-operators/setting-up-virtual-sets-with-tracked-cameras/

Regarding the PTZ cameras, we're currently working on the general support of Visca protocol which is supported by several PTZ models including the Panasonic one you mentioned.

But it seems from youtube video that there is some type of camera tracking for more details

Yes, there is camera tracking via the PTZ camera, but no depth information.

The mentioned tracking protocol, FreeD is already supported by Aximmetry.

Hi
would like to raise this question again especially concerning Intel Realsense camera.
Are there support for them in the roadmap?

Hey Ahmed, that's a pretty cool usb camera. It would be great if it works with Aximmetry! I would like to follow this thread.

In version documentation Intel RealSense should be supported in 2021.2.0

When can we expect any documentation / tutorial on that?

Yeah just came looking for the same, would be great to understand how its used or when connected, where its expected to show up, as see only Antilatency and OpenXR in the settings section for experimentals.I heard it can come in via OSC, do we need to use that?

yeah seen that and looks interesting but does that mean we need to buy the licence for that from that group to use with Aximmetry, or we can use the device directly with Aximmetry due to their updates?

Edit: To answer own question, it just appears as a Tracking device in the system automatically and usable directly. if only it was a bit more perfect.... its so close

I don't see the realsense camera as a tracking device in Aximmetry?! Where do I have to add it? I use the T265, installed the driver and in the Intel Realsense Viewer its working correctly.

for myself, i just had to make sure nothing was using the camera (so the Intel app is closed etc), then open Aximmetry and go to Tracking from setup - manage devices, and it was in one of the dropdowns. No more to it.

If it held its origin better, this would be quite a solution. For simple things though and virtual camera movements, it works a treat still as they are more controlled.

Realsense T-265- Tracking

Realsense D455- Depth sensing

Realsense T-265 can be installed straight into Axy as tracking device, same as the vive. No news yet if D455 works with Axy, wouldve been great for focus management.

Apologies for the font size.

Hi,

I'm sorry, I cannot tell you at the moment if we'll add it and when.
